Every spring the outgoing 7th grade class selects the St. Peter's school theme verse for the upcoming school year. St. Peter Lutheran School's theme verse came about in an interesting way. Last spring the 7th grade class went on a retreat before their Ark Trip with Mrs. Urias, Mrs. Jody, and Pastor Tim. At the retreat they brainstormed theme verses and prayed about it. While on the Ark trip the verse presented itself on the second floor of the door of the Ark. Mrs. Jody shared that the arrival on this verse was such a cool thing to watch. The 7th graders were very fired up about the verse, and felt moved by how it came about. This is what we hope every student knows before they leave here, that the Lord is our salvation.
